National Students Union of India [NSUI] and
Swabhiman – Women’s Awareness Initiative of Smile
Foundation, join hands to set off a series of workshops with
various colleges of the University of Delhi.
The workshops are targeting mixed groups
of boys and girls. The modules cover safety issues, creating
awareness on drug de-addiction among youth, social consequences
of drugs, how drug abuse leads to molestation, harassment
etc. It also includes career conflicts, problem in relationships,
examination and academic stress forces a youth to take drugs
etc.

Dr. Vipin Chauhan from Navjyoti Delhi Police Foundation.
Participants: 70 boys and girls
Workshop -2, Place: College of Vocational
Studies, Sheikh Sarai, New Delhi-17
Resource Persons: Ms. Sapna Kulshrestha and Ms. Kiran Arora
from Smile Foundation
Participants: 50 boys and girls.
Smile Foundation and NSUI have planned cover more college
in Delhi through this series of workshops. |
