Tata Pipes in Support of Street Kids

Tata Parivaar Southern Pipers, a group of Tata Pipe dealers in the southern region has joined ‘Mission Education’ programme of Smile Foundation. The company will be supporting basic education projects for street children under the national programme named ‘Mission Education’ from Smile Foundation.

The company has started with a contribution of Rs. 3,00,000/- towards the programme.

This was handed over in a small function arranged at Bosco Mane, Bangalore. SMILE children put up a show which included a comical skit and a group dance.

Mr. Arumugam, CEO of Sicagen India Ltd spoke briefly about Tata Parivaar and Mr. Sukumar Srinivas, MD of Shankara Pipes India Ltd handed over the cheque to Mrs. Indrani Roy, National Director [RD], Smile Foundation. Also present was Mr. Mukundan, Director of Megh Steels Pvt Ltd.

Smile Foundation appreciates the social commitment displayed by the company, taking the tradition of Tata Group further.
