Swaroop Khan spreads the message of Good Health with Smile on Wheels in Jaipur

Smile Foundation organized a community mobilization in Jaipur, with Swaroop Khan, the young singer applauded for his brilliant folk singing in Indian Idol season 5. This mobilization was conducted in the Jhala community of Jaipur. Swaroop spoke to the people of the community about the advantages of Smile on Wheels – the mobile hospital of Smile Foundation, which visits the community regularly twice every month.

Swaroop addressed the people emphasizing the importance of health care services being brought to their doorsteps. He also interacted with the community elders and the children and appreciated the work done by the local community mobilizers.

Small children from Smile Foundation interacted with Swaroop and presented him a certificate for being an inspiration for them. He has truly set an example for everyone of how determination and hard work together can win every battle.

Speaking on the occasion Swaroop Khan said “This is a wonderful experience as I am interacting with the community on such a personal level. I see the spark to excel amongst all the kids and I will be more than happy to be associated with them in whatever way I can. I would also congratulate Smile Foundation for this ambitious and wonderful project that is benefiting the people of all the areas which do not have proper health care facilities.”
