Smile kids compete with the nation in T-shirt designing
Smile
Foundation associated with Cotton Council International as partner
for a pan India t-shirt designing competition, TeeZing. The competition
was held in 6 cities across India – Delhi, Kolkata, Chandigarh,
Ahmedabad, Pune and Hyderabad.
This month long competition offered every participant – young
and old, a chance to showcase their creativity and sketching skills.
A formidable team – including leading names from the creative,
design and fashion fraternity, was in place to judge the contest.
These judges were present at all the competition centres and shared
tips with the children to help them bring their creativity to life
in designs. Winners of the competition were awarded with cash prizes.
Mr.
Sachit Bhatia, Senior Manager Representative, South Asia, Cotton
Council International, stated “Cotton has inspired a lot of
creations in the Indian fashion industry and to take this association
to a new level, we have on board a group of fashion designers from
various parts of the country who are traveling to different cities
and mentoring the kids of Smile Foundation for participation in
TeeZing so that they can come up with their best cotton creations.
