Free health camp in association with Rotary

Smile Foundation in association with Rotary Club of Delhi South organised a health camp at Sriram J.J Cluster, Dhaula Kuan on September 4, 2009. The camp focused on children & women’s health issues. At least 68 underprivileged children and 46 women benefited from the camp.

Besides routine heath checkup, treatment of malnorished children, ante-natal and post-natal care of pregnant women, counseling of community women on healthcare and hygiene, treatment of anaemia, family planning promotion with emphasis on condom usage and distribution of medicines (Iron Folic tablets, Vitamin -A Prophylaxis etc.) free of cost were the highlights of the health camp.

It may be mentioned that Smile Foundation organises health camps on regular intervals in rural areas and urban slums throughout the country.
