Mission Education – An effort to continue the education of 20,500 children

New Delhi : Smile Foundation, a development organisation working for the welfare of underprivileged children and their families, has initiated the 2nd phase of its Mission Education campaign. Last year, the campaign successfully raised support for continuing the education of 19,000 less privileged children across India. This year, the target has been raised to cover a total of 20,500 children.

Smile Foundation adds 13 more centres for training and employment of urban youth

New Delhi: Under Smile Foundation’s Smile Twin e-Learning Programme (STeP), 13 new centres in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Gurgaon have started functioning with effect from 1st of April 2015. Out of the 13 STeP centres, 10 centres are being supported by Ericsson and three by FIS. Smile Foundation is now operating a total of 45 STeP centres across India.
