Femina Miss India South 2011 finalists usher the festive season with Smile Foundation
With
festivity in the air and Christmas round the corner 12 beautiful
finalists of Pantaloons Femina Miss India South 2011 visited a Mission
Education centre of Smile Foundation and participated in Smile’s
‘Be the Change’ campaign.
It was a day full of fun and
fiesta, as the girls relived their childhood days playing with children.
The beginning of this day was marked by the ladies playing Santa
to the kids and showering them with goodies. The girls made the
day even more special by singing and dancing for the kids. The ambience
was filled with joie de vivre and the children loved every moment
of it.
The girls inspired the underprivileged
community to dream high, be successful in their lives and make the
nation proud. Present at the occasion Ms. Shweta Dolli, one of the
finalists said “It always feels great to celebrate the spirit
and joy of festivities with kids. This is the time to spread joy
and smiles across faces and it has been a wonderful experience as
I am reliving my childhood days with these kids. I see the spark
to excel amongst all the kids and I will be more than happy to be
associated with them in whatever way I can.”
Adding
to this Ms. Akansha Patil, another finalist said “The kind
of work and effort that Smile Foundation is putting in to bring
joy and happiness in the lives of these underprivileged children
is commendable. I really appreciate their work and hope to add on
to my contribution with Smile in any way possible in the future”.
The kids from Smile Foundation gave personalized greeting cards
to the finalists. And all of them together blew up balloons in the
air to disseminate Smile Foundation’s important message of
BE THE CHANGE.
