Empowering Society through Girl’s Education in Rajasthan
About the Partner Humana People to People has been working in the fields of education, fighting HIV AIDS and empowerment across the globe. Humana People to People India has been working in the state of Rajasthan providing education to non–school going children and working children. The children are between the age group of 9-14 years in 5 villages of Virat Nagar Block. The organization has already initiated two girls’ educational centres for similar children in the villages of Chhota Kakrana and Shyampura. Humana People to People India works on focused community development. Some of the community based initiatives through community involvement are Village Water and Sanitation Committees, Parents- Teacher Committees, Farmers Clubs, Women’s Self Groups, Youth Clubs to name a few. About the Project
All the formal schools that act as Nodal Schools & Parents School are empowered & sensitized. Orientation is organised for all the teachers & Head Masters in these schools. Non Formal education is also imparted up to 3rd standard. In which subjects such as Hindi, Mathematics, and Drawing are included. The Children are also taught through song and dance. Special Focus New teaching methodologies are developed to make the teaching / learning process interesting & inspiring. Run village contact drives in the operation area in order to sensitize the population to give valve to girl’s education.

Foundation, taking its mission of promoting education and empowerment
of the girl child, has joined hands with Humana People to People
for a unique effort in Virat Nagar Block, Jaipur in Rajasthan state.
The endeavour, besides reaching out directly to the needy girls,
aims to mobilize and awaken the adjacent population of the areas.

Foundation and Humana People to People will cover 150 girls through
this special initiative on Girls Education. They are between the
age group of 9-14 years through bridge courses. The education is
imparted in its 5 centers in Virat Nagar Block. In each centre 30
– 40 girls study for 4-5 hours a day. The emphasis is given
on quality education. Provisions are made for Girls who have attended
the bridge courses for their admission in formal primary schools.
