Malini Awasthi celebrates Christmas with Smile Foundation in Lucknow

Smile Foundation celebrated the joy of Christmas with Malini Awasthi an illustrious voice in the folk music industry. Malini Awasthi came to the Lucknow centre of Smile Foundation and celebrated the festivities with the children, who were eagerly waiting for her.

The kids were enthralled when Malini performed some of her most popular numbers. He also danced with the children. She was amazed seeing the talent in the kids when they started performing for her and encouraged all of them to pursue their passion seriously. She also counseled the kids on music as a career choice.

Malini Awasthi is a post graduate in Hindustani classical music from Bhatkhande University, Lucknow. She has performed extensively throughout the country showing her versatility to her fans and spreading the rich heritage of Indian folk music. Equally accomplished in Ghazal and Sufi gaayki, Malini reminds you of the old world charm of the beautiful Lucknow and the Ganga-Jamuni culture of Uttar Pradesh.

Malini Awasthi truly inspired the children to dream high. Talking on the occasion she said “It always feels great to celebrate the spirits and joy of festivities with kids.
