INB Awards felicitates Choone Do Aasman as best documentary of 2010

Choone Do Aasman(2009) – an initiative of Smile Foundation and NDTV to sensitize people about the aspirations of underprivileged children has been awarded the best Hindi news documentary, for the year by the third edition of the Indian News Broadcasting (INB) Awards 2010. The award function was held on 1st September in New Delhi to recognize the work and achievements of the media fraternity during 2009-10.

INB Awards was launched in 2008 by the exchange4media Group with an objective to honour television news professionals for their extraordinary contribution to the industry, and has recieved overwhelming response. The jury for the awards every year comprises of eminent personalities who understand media and news media. The awards are given in 4 broad categories – Programming, Personality, Advertising, and Leadership.

Among the other award winners in various categories are eminent media personalities like Rajdeep Sardesai, Subhash Chandra, Udayan Mukherjee, Barkha Dutt and Shazi Zaman.
