Where do we stand in the global era of
education? Is education meant only for a child, no not at all.
It should be for every citizen of this glorious nation. Yes
education should be of civic sicence, education of social and
religious respect and educating the people in mutual help. Where
do these street children stand? Can't we educate the poor roming
on street about awareness on use of condoms, ignorence which
create more children living on street and the problem therein
are not forseen by these ignorant people? Is there a need to
educate corporate or celebrities to contribute 10% of their
income for survival street children? Don't they feel it is all
our responsibility? An unknow man can donate crores of Rupee
to religious mission but they can't worry about poor children.
Every politian says that today's child is tomorrow's wealth
of our nation but they misuse thousands of crores while Education
is required for every citizen of our nation about how to live
and to let others to live. Despite all these we rank at the
top of the world's academics which just looks like an unbalaced
and diseased body. Work for the nation's growth and not for
individual growth - which automatically makes our nation as
the World Knowledge Centre! |

Yes. Education should be made compulsary.
People who want their children to be educated only in Private
Schools, they do so because they don't believe in the institutions
being run by the Government. Why does not the Government take
necessary steps to improve the quality in education rather than
concentrating on other unwanted things. Why doesn't it give
free education till the children complete their schoolings! |

I have a doubt can anybody clearify what
is education? Is it that education is just confined to Schooling?
Is schooling is the only way of educating children/ a person?
As far as I know that is what being done and when student passes
out from an institution he is called to be educated; but is
it true? |

I think it is time to review the Indian
notion of education. As it is not empowering us, yes, only a
few make it. But those few are the privileged ones. So the system
does not do much for the individual, does it? |

Education is a birth right. Everyone deserves
it. It is a pity to see kids deprived of the vast knowledge
that they could explore. If we still don't take any steps for
it, then our nation will never a developed one. |

The global era has changed over the years
and with that has come the responsibility to shoulder the outcomes
that will in future decide how each survives in the new competitve
world where survival becomes the necessity for everyone. In
this global world, few factors which are a right now may become
a privilege if we are not able to handle them and in those few
factors education may be listed. Education is not only about
academics but about all round development and this will come
as we make provisions for them. There needs to be inclusion of
everyone in the process which has to be diverse. Education then
does not become a privilege but a right. |

In the new era of global economy where priority
is bussiness, it is great that some people wants to develop the
nation through education as a tool. Development can be achieved
only by providing education to all the people of nation. |
