Beti Bhi Apni Hai, a success at Poster-Making at the Delhi College of Arts

Smile Foundation’s girl child and women empowerment programme, Swabhiman, recently conducted a poster-making competition at the College of Arts, New Delhi. The event saw participation from numerous undergraduate students of the college.

Poster making is one of the main subjects that is taught at the College of Arts and the students were very thrilled at the idea of the Given the fact that the so many creative heads had come together for the event, there was a lot of creativity in the form of visual images that came forward. In addition, it was wonderful to see such varied and colourful imagery coming from different individuals regarding a single concept. It was wonderful to see that all the students beautifully portrayed the connection between the importance of education and development of the girl child.

21 posters were selected among many entries as the best ones that could capture and communicate the core concept of the Beti Bhi Apni Hai campaign.
