ASSET INDIA FOUNDATION

Asset India Foundation empowers children of women in prostitution and those rescued from trafficking in India by providing them training in information technology and helping them in getting an employment.

Asset Foundation has joined hands with Smile Foundation to enhance the technical aptitude of the children of sex workers through the Smile Twin e-Learning Programme (STEP).

Asset is extending its support to Smile Twin e-Learning Programme centres wherein the underprivileged vulnerable youth are provided basic computer education and spoken English. The focus is on girl child.

The STeP centres are namely Association for Promoting Social Action (APSA) in Bangalore, Prerna in Delhi, ICWO in Chennai, Prayog in Mumbai and Prajwala in Hyderabad etc.
