About the Founder

Dr. Neelam Gupta is currently the president of the foundation. She has an experience of over 10years in vocational and skills training. She has been managing the AROH vocational and skills training institute.

About the organisation

AROH has, over past 10 years, developed sound sustainable programmes to cater to the development needs of its target community. AROH has been actively involved in several community welfare programmes in Delhi UP. Haryana and Rajasthan.
Literacy and vocational skills training is the main thrust of the organization. Various programmes on market driven vocational trades are conducted by AROH Foundation for the marginalized youth & women in the age group of 18-35 years drawn particularly from disadvantaged community from local areas for their livelihood options. The organization also runs multiple projects of economic empowerment along with SHGs and Micro finance activities and a well-organized network of Resource – Marketing and Placement Units as well as Education, Environment, Health & Sanitation projects.

Association with Smile Foundation

AROH in association with Smile Foundation, runs Smile Twin –e – Learning Programme. The programme is designed to increase the employability prospects of underprivileged adolescents by equipping them in marketable skills like English and Computer. This helps them get employment in service sectors and particularly retail outlets, BPO’s etc. Besides necessary orientation, the job oriented Smile Twin e-Learning Programme trains these young boys and girls in soft skills, basic management including retail and sales, personality development, career opportunities & counseling, team work and leadership qualities. These students are also sensitised about the gender issues, reproductive and sexual health issues and diseases like HIV/AIDS.
