The Founders
ANK owes its origin to a group of seven

IT and teaching. The organisation was established in the year 2004.
ANK was started with a dream that every child in the country should
go to school with an access to proper healthcare and shelter. The main
vision behind the organisation is that education is the only vehicle
that can improve the living standards of the less fortunate people.
It is the tool that makes them well equipped to be an efficient decision

Stories of Hope
A personality development workshop was organised on January 1, 2010
at the centre in which around 25 students participated and honed their
knowledge on ‘soft skills and personality development’.
It was an opportunity for the students to learn the modern methodologies
required in the current job market from Anupam Sharma , a management
student from IIM- Indore.
As part of the team building exercise at the workshop, the students
were divided into five groups and each group was assigned the task of
making a building with a set of newspapers provided to them. The purpose
was to develop understanding on the concept of stability and space.
Group discussion sessions were conducted on relevant topics like ‘need
of computer education for the overall development of society’
and ‘need of English education in the present context’.
It was followed by an interview session wherein the students were asked
to answer a basic set of questions usually asked during interviews.
The workshop ended with tips given to the students on ‘how to
prepare a good resume’ and ‘how to face an interview confidently’. |
