As a socially

their contributions towards Smile on Wheels project in Delhi NCR.
The Smile
on Wheels project in Delhi was launched on June 10, 2008 by Ms. Renuka
Chowdhury, Union Minister for Women & Child Development, Govt.
of India. It is operational in Delhi and surrounding areas aiming
to cover minimum 30 slums with 1.5 lakh beneficiaries.
Smile on
Wheels is a national level mobile hospital programme from Smile Foundation
which takes affordable medical services to the doorsteps of underprivileged
rural and urban population, with focus on children and women.
As many
as eight Smile on Wheels mobile hospitals are operational in as many
locations in India. The stations include Pune (Maharashtra), Bhilai
(Chhattisgarh), Cuttack-Jagatsinghpur (Orissa), Kolkata (West Bengal),
Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Uttar Pradesh, Roorkee (Uttarakhand), and Delhi
NCR (National Capital Territories).
